Beautiful Boot with Rich Caramel Color | High-Instep Approved | Snug at the Ball

"The Trace in Caramel is a stunningly attractive boot, and the coloring looks even better in person than it does online. I was initially hesitant about the blue shafts, but the orange stitching perfectly pulls in the richness of the caramel leather. It gives the whole boot a softer, beautifully balanced look. Overall I would call the fit true to size in length, though the EE width is a bit snug at the ball of the foot. Instep/Vamp: I have freakishly high arches and insteps, so I was pleasantly surprised by how easily these went on. For comparison, they are much easier to slip into than my exotic Ariat Futurity Streak (Black Python) boots, which have a much tighter vamp. Width: Where these boots get snug is right at the balls of the feet. The EE width runs slightly narrower than a Tecovas EE, but lands pretty much on-par with Ariat's EE width. If you have a high instep, don't hesitate—these offer surprising clearance out of the box. Just be prepared for a slight break-in period around the widest part of your foot if you are used to roomier brands like Tecovas."

"Rujo’s has bever disappointed. I have made several orders from this company in just the last 4 months and there hasn’t been any issues whatsoever. I’m talking 8 pair of Rujo exotics including Cauman, Ostrich, Python and Water Snake with no flaws in shipping, packaging and quality. The sizing has been spot on everyy time. That is consistency!"

Impressed. First Rujo boots

"I am reviewing the Rujo Trace caramel in size 13D. This is my first pair of Rujo and the first pair of boots I’ve bought online. To start the review, the pictures on the webpage don’t do justice to how great these boots look in person. Absolutely gorgeous boots. Construction is also top notch. I normally wear between a 12D and 13D. I think for me 12. 5 is the sweet spot but that is not a size most boot makers carry. The 13D I purchased are a bit big for m, out of the box, but after putting in a thin insole they fit great. Again, absolutely gorgeous boots and excellent quality. Can’t wait to get another pair of Rujo boots!"

Proud to be a Rujo Loyalist

"I reside in Canada and I love the Rujo brand. They really stand out up here and I get asked all the time who is the manufacturer. The Trace is an amazing boot with the blue shaft. Killer looks. Its cost a little extra to get them up here with extra shipping but well worth it. Amazing looks, Amazing service."

Q&A

Meet The Trace

The Trace is a Western-style 7-toe Cowboy boot wrapped in RUJO's opulent Caiman Belly and coupled with a gorgeous hand-stitched Suede Nubuck shaft. With this John Wayne-esque look and feel, The Trace goes all in on this classic 7-Toe style.

100% Genuine Caiman

RUJO's 100% genuine Caiman hides set a new standard for cowboy boot design. Every single one of RUJO's Caiman hides undergoes a thorough examination before being selected for the best match of color and pattern. You can see this extra effort when you look at RUJO Boots.

We Sweat The Details

Every element of our boots is hand-made by the famed master craftsmen of León, Mexico. Take a closer look at the intricate stitching on the shaft of The Trace, or the stunning Single-Piece Caiman assembly, and you will see what we mean when we say "The RUJO Difference.'

Single-Piece Caiman Assembly

A single piece of leather adorns the vamps and counters of our top exotic boots, including The Trace. This method denotes a high level of craftsmanship and quality in a pair of boots. Unlike some boot manufacturers, each pair of RUJO's is made from the hide of a single animal.

A Better Boot for a Better Price

Every pair of RUJO Boots is uniquely authentic—a perfect blend of tradition and technology—and is designed right here in Dallas, Texas and handcrafted in León, Mexico.

"A Better Boot, A Better Price"

Dare to compare

You be the judge. We enthusiastically encourage price comparisons. Any
true apples-to-apples price comparison will show that RUJO is easily $40
under other internet based boot sellers (and more than half traditional
retail).
