"I've had these for a bit and never got around to wearing them I finally broke them out and I was very pleased. These Gavins hug the foot like a warm handshake but leave enough for you to move. I also noticed the ostrich within the shaft embroidery. That was a classy touch, Rujo!"
"Beautiful boots but hard to see things in the photos like the ostrich inlays at the top and front of the shaft, triple stitching throughout. I have a a pair of Tecova limited edition exotics, these far exceed in the “What You Get For Your Money” category. Fit is true to size, easy on and off. Skin quality and black cherry color is gorgeous and the footbed is luscious. AND the folks in Customer Service are super helpful! So glad I found these at less than half the price of a pair of Allen’s…these are way better! Thank you Rujo!"
"Solid construction, comfortable and light weight and true to size. There are some obscure blemishes from the manufacturing processes but outside of that the quality of hide used the color, depth and contrast is a show stopper. A bit of conditioner and a top coat of neutral polish will have the Honeycomb lustering beautifully. 100% recommend these boots"
"I just received my new Gavin’s (grey full quill ostrich with the 7 toe and 1. 7” cowboy heel). I have Lucchese, Blackjack, Mandujano, Tecovas, Dan Post, and several other reputable brands and these Gavin’s from Rujo are as good or better looking as the higher priced boots in the lineup I listed above. The quality of the material and the craftsmanship put into these boots are unbelievable at the price point I paid for them. They arrived at more door inside of a week of ordering them. If you are looking for a great boot and don’t want to spend a ton of money this is the boot to go with. It typically sells for $600 but I was able to catch a sale and get them to my door for $305. I have boots that cost twice what these did that are not nearly as good. Unless you are getting a boot custom made to your foot, you want regret giving this company a try."
